बुद्ध जयन्तीको अवसरमा पर्यटन प्रबर्द्धन कार्यक्रम
बुद्ध जयन्ती तथा अन्तराष्ट्रिय भेसाक डेको अवसरमा ०५ मे २०२३ शुक्रबार नेपाली राजदूतावास मस्कटमा एक पर्यटन प्रबर्द्धन कार्यक्रम भव्यरूपमा सम्पन्न गरियो।उक्त कार्यक्रममा ओमानी नागरिकहरू, ओमानस्थित नेपाली संघ संस्थाका प्रतिनिधिहरू, ओमानस्थित पत्रकारहरू, पर्यटन व्यवसायीहरू तथा बैंकिङ क्षेत्रका प्रतिनिधिहरूको उल्लेखनीय उपस्थिति रहेको थियो।
कार्यक्रमको शुरूवातमा महामहिम राजदूत डोरनाथ अर्यालबाट उपस्थित पाहुनाहरुलाई स्वागत गर्नुहुँदै बुद्धको जन्म, बुद्धत्त्व प्राप्ति तथा महापरिनिर्वाण प्राप्त गरेको दिन भएकोले यस दिनको विशेष महत्त्व भएकोबारे जानकारी गराउँदै बुद्धका मार्गनिर्देशक सिद्धान्तहरूको औचित्यता एवम् सान्दर्भिकताबारे चर्चा गर्नुभयो।यसका साथै नेपाली पर्यटनका विविध आकर्षणहरूबारे जानकारी गराउँदै नेपाल भ्रमण गर्न बालबालिका, युवा तथा बृद्ध लगायतका सबै उमेर समुहकालाई उपयुक्त रहेको बताउनु भयो।थाईल्यान्डबाट भर्चुअल माध्यमबाट जोडिनु भएका आदरणीय भिक्षु प्रा. डा. अनिल शाक्यले बुद्ध दर्शनका बहुआयामिक पक्षहरूमाथि प्रकाश पार्दै बुद्धका उपदेश मनन गर्न सके शान्तिपूर्ण समाजको स्थापना गर्न सहज हुने धारणा राख्नुभयो। साथै वहाँले खुसी अन्तरआत्मा नै रहेको तथ्यलाई बुझ्न सके तनाब रहित तथा स्व-उत्प्रेरित भई सुखी र खुसी जीवन बाँच्न सकिने विषयमा उत्प्रेरणात्मक प्रवचन दिनु भएको थियो।नेपालबाट आउनु भएका नेपाल पर्यटन बोर्डका बरिष्ठ अधिकृतहरूले नेपाली पर्यटनबारे सूचनामूलक प्रस्तुतिकरण गर्नु भएको थियो।कार्यक्रममा नेपाली पर्यटनका विविध पक्ष, क्षेत्र तथा आयामहरूलाई समेटेर तयार पारिएको सन्देशमुलक सामग्रीहरू समावेश गरी तयार गरिएको श्रव्य-दृश्य सामग्रीहरू प्रस्तुत गरिएको थियो। अतिथिहरूको आगमन नेपाली मौलिक पञ्चे बाजा बजाएर स्वागत गरिनुका साथै मनोरञ्जन प्रदान गरिएको थियो।कार्यक्रमको समापन पश्चात् उपस्थित पाहुनाहरूलाई मायाको चिनोस्वरूप उपहार तथा पर्यटन प्रबर्द्धनका सामग्रीहरू प्रदान गरियो। साथै उक्त कार्यक्रममा सहभागीहरूमध्येबाट गोला प्रथा मार्फत दुई जनालाई अल जजिरा एअरलाईन्सले प्रायोजन गरेको मस्कट- काठमाडौको फिर्ति टिकट प्रदान गरिएको थियो।
उक्त कार्यक्रमको सञ्चालन राजदूतावासका प्रथम सचिव श्री सोमेश थापाले गर्नु भएको थियो ।
आजै बिहान बुद्ध भिजन ओमान लगायत ओमानस्थित नेपाली समुदायहरूसँगको सहकार्यमा राजदूतावासमा पुजा आरधना तथा संक्षिप्त ध्यान-साधना कार्यक्रम आयोजना गरिएको थियो। उक्त कार्यक्रममा महामहिम राजदूत तथा श्रम सहचारी श्री गोविन्द प्रसाद आचार्यले बुद्धको व्यक्तित्व, उपदेश र त्यसबाट वर्तमान पुस्ताले लिनु पर्ने सन्देशका विषयमा आफ्नो धारणा राख्नु भएको थियो। बिहानको कार्यक्रममा करिब ९० जना र बेलुकाको कार्यक्रममा १४२ जना गरी करिब २३२ जनाको उपस्थिति थियो ।

On the occasion of Buddha Jayanti/International Day of Vesak, a tourism promotion program was organized at the residence of the Ambassador in Muscat on Friday, May 5, 2023. The program was attended by media persons, tourism entrepreneurs, representatives of the banking sectors and Oman based Nepali organizations,
At the beginning of the program, His Excellency Ambassador Dornath Aryal welcomed the guests and informed them about the importance of the International Day of Vesak/Buddha Jayanti. He also highlighted the cultural and natural attractions of Nepal. Most Venerable monk Prof. Dr. Anil Shakya shed light on the multifaceted aspects of the Buddhist philosophy and opined that it would be easier to establish a peaceful society by following the teachings of the Buddha. In addition, he gave a motivational speech on how to live a happy life without stress and self-motivation by understanding the fact that happiness lies within the soul. The senior officers of Nepal Tourism Board made an informative presentation on Nepal tourism. Audio-visual materials were also presented on the occasion. Panche Baja (Traditional Nepali Music) was also very attractive in the programme and guests were very keen in taking videos and pictures. Guests were also welcomed by Panche Bjaa. Two Muscat-Kathmadau return tickets were provided to the guests through the lottery system which was sponsored by Al Jazeera Airlines. After the completion of the program, tourism promotion materials/souvenirs were distributed. The program was conducted by Mr. Somesh Thapa, First Secretary of the Embassy.
On the same day in the morning, in collaboration with Nepali communities in Oman, a worship and a brief meditation program was organized at the residence of the Ambassador. On the occasion, the Ambassador and Labour Attaché Mr. Gobind Prasad Acharya expressed their views on Buddha’s teachings and the message that the present generation should learn. About 90 persons attended the morning programme and 142 persons attended the evening program.
