Her Excellency Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, Ambassador of Nepal to Sultanate of Oman visited Nepal on 28 April 2018.
Her Excellency & Spouse participated in ‘The International Buddhist Conference ‘Closing Ceremony on 29th April In Lumbini and also participated in the Stone laid Ceremony where Rt.Hon. Bidhya Devi Bhandari, President of Nepal laid the foundation stone for an international level Global Buddhist Sabha Hall in Lumbini in the presence of Rt.Hon. KP Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal and other Hon. Ministers & dignitaries.
Her Excellency Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal in her consultations, briefed Nepal-Oman bilateral relations and discussed with Rt.Hon. Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Speaker of the House of the Representative of Nepal, Rt.Hon. Prime Minister, former Prime Ministers, Deputy PMs, Hon.Ministers, Foreign Secretary, concern departments, Secretaries, dignitaries about on going and upcoming Nepal Embassy Muscat’s work progress.
Her Excellency held meeting with delegations of National Network For Safe Migration an Umbrella institution of 19 civil Society Organizations working in the field of International Labour Migration & Sustainable Development and visited the “Paurakhi “Among 19 organizations.
H.E.Dhakal also met with some of Media persons and described Nepal-Oman relations, shared information upon their queries about Nepali living in Oman & ongoing and upcoming Embassy’s programmes.
