Her Excellency Mrs. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal presented to His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, the Letters of Credence as the Ambassador, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, of Nepal to the Sultanate of Oman amidst a special ceremony held at the Al Alam Palace, Oman this morning.
Her Excellency Mrs. Dhakal received the Guard of Honour at the Palace where National Anthem of Nepal and Sultanate were played. On the occasion, Her Excellency Mrs. Dhakal conveyed the earnest greetings and best wishes from the Right Honorable President of Nepal Mrs. Bidya Devi Bhandari to His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq for his good health and happiness as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of the Sultanate of Oman.
During the presentation of the Letters of Credence, His Majesty welcomed Her Excellency Mrs. Dhakal as the Ambassador of Nepal to the Sultanate of Oman; wished her for a successful tenure; and assured her of full support to enrich diplomatic relations between the Sultanate and Nepal to a new height; while Her Excellency Mrs. Dhakal expressed her sincere commitment to further enhance the existing bilateral relations between the two countries during her tenure.
Her Excellency Mrs. Dhakal was accompanied by her spouse Mr. Bimal Dhakal and Other officials from the embassy of Nepal in Muscat.
