The Embassy of Nepal, Oman Cancer Association and Badr Al Sama Hospital jointly organized a free Health Check-up Camp at the Embassy premises on 02 February 2024 from 15:00 hrs to 19:40 hrs. More than 130 persons were benefited through free health camp services like Mammography test, Blood sugar test, blood pressure, BMI measurement and counselling services.
The programme commenced with lighting of traditional Panas lamp by H.E. Dornath Aryal, Ambassador of Nepal to the Sultanate of Oman. Speaking at the programme Ambassador Aryal thanked to the participants and expressed sincere gratitude to the Oman Cancer Association and Badr Al Sama Hospital for sending teams to organize the Health Camp. He also extended thanks to sponsors E6 Holidays Travel Agency and Hamdan Exchange. The Health camp was organized to create awareness about Breast cancer and initial diagnosis can assist in treatment of the disease. The health camp provided a message for routine basic health checkups for healthy lifestyle.
E6 Holidays travel agency sponsored the one-way Muscat to Kathmandu Air-ticket, Dolphin view ticket and gift hampers for the participants through lucky draw. Hamdan Exchange sponsored snacks for the participants.
Nepali Social Club and Oman based Nepali organizations participated and volunteered for the free health camp conduced at the Embassy premises.
