The Embassy of Nepal, Muscat organized a meeting with the members of Tourism Committee of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday, 25 April 2019 at the Embassy meeting hall.
Welcoming the members, HE Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal highlighted the importance of Tourism Industry in Nepal and informed about national tourism campaign “Visit Nepal 2020” of the Government of Nepal. In the program, Mr. Chandi Raj Dhakal, former president of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce, distinguished member and president of SAARC Chamber of Commerce,
gave detailed presentation on tourism industry of Nepal.
Appreciating the tourism scope of Nepal, Mr. Ali Salem Al Hajry, Chairman of Tourism Committee of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry inquired about various prospects and cooperation methods in the tourism sectors. The Committee members had expressed their willingness to visit Nepal for further collaboration with various tourism sectors in Nepal and enhance the tourism on the basis of mutual cooperation.
All the officials of the Embassy were present during the meeting. The meeting was followed by lunch where Nepali cuisine was served.
