H.E. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, Ambassador of Nepal to the Sultanate of Oman paid a courtesy call on H.E. Sheikh Saad bin Mohammed bin Said al-Mardhouf al-Saadi
Minister of Sports Affairs, of the Sultanate of Oman at latter’s office today.
H.E. Sheikh welcomed H.E. Ambassador at his office and praised the excellent bilateral relations between Nepal and Oman. He enquired about Nepal’s current socio-economic and political situation.
During the call on, H.E. Dhakal praised the active role of the Ministry for the promotion of the several sport activities in the Sultanate. H.E Al-Saadi informed that the sports development in Oman is the strategy of the government to engage the youth in sports activities as well as enhance their creativities and competitiveness for the healthy team spirit and participation.
Both had substantive discussion on various kind of cooperation for development of sports in both countries.
