23 मार्च २०२१ मंगलबार ओमानका लागि महामहिम राजदूत सर्मिला पराजुली ढकालज्यूले ओमानको सुल्तान काबुस विश्वविद्यालयका उपकुलपति ओमानी राजपरिवारका सदस्य डा. फहाद अलजुलन्दा अल साइदिज्यूसँग वहाँको कार्यकक्षमा शिष्ट्राचार भेटघाट गर्नुभयो।
उक्त भेटघाटमा महामहिम राजदूत ढकालज्यूले राजपरिवार सदस्य डा. फहादज्यूलाई कार्यकालको सफलताको लागि शुभकामना प्रदान गर्नुभयो। बैठकमा वहाँहरूबीच नेपाल र ओमानको विश्वविद्यालयहरूबीच सहकार्य गर्ने विषयमा छलफल भएको थियो। उक्त बैठकमा सहकार्यको शुरूवात कृषि र पर्यटन क्षेत्रका विद्यार्थीहरू आदान-प्रदान गर्ने गरी कार्य अगाडि बढाउने सहमति भएको छ भने अनुसन्धान तथा प्राज्ञिक विषयहरूमा समेत थप सहकार्यका लागि यस किसिमको बैठकहरू नियमित गर्ने सहमति समेत भएको छ।
उक्त बैठकमा सुल्तान काबुस विश्वविद्यालयकी अन्तराष्ट्रिय सहयोग सम्बन्धी सहायक उपकुलपति ओमानी राजपरिवारको सदस्य मोना फहाद अल साइदिज्यू, अन्तराष्ट्रिय सहयोग कार्यालयकी उप निर्देशक श्री फात्मा अल खुजैरी तथा नेपाली दूतावासका द्वितीय सचिव श्री सोमेश थापा सहभागी हुनुहुन्थ्यो।

Her Excellency Ambassador Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal had a meeting with H.E. Er. Juma Mohammed Ali Al Saleh, Chairman of Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industries (OCCI) of the sultanate of Oman on 04 March 2021 at latter’s office. The meeting was held in an utmost cordial and friendly environment.
During the meeting both discussed the ways and means to enhance bilateral relations between both the countries. H.E. Ambassador Dhakal thanked H.E. Er. Juma for the meeting and highlighted the policies and plans of the embassy towards promoting business and trade between Nepal and Oman. Also, H.E. Ambassador Dhakal proposed about MoU between chamber of commerce of two countries to be followed by B2B meeting between competent businessmen of two countries. H.E. Er. Juma thanked H.E. Ambassador Dhakal for such proposal and expressed his willingness to move forward.
Other means of promoting business and trade between two countries were discussed during the meeting. This is to inform that proposed B2B between two countries was cancelled last year due to the outbreak of Pandemic.
