31 January 2018 H.E. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, Ambassador, Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Nepal to the Sultanate of Oman paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Ahmed bin Nasser Bin Hamed Al Mahrizi, Minister of Tourism at latter’s office today.
During the call on H.E. Dhakal praised for the dynamic leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said. H.E Dhakal expressed happiness over the excellent state of bilateral relations between Nepal and Oman. H.E. Mahrizi recalled the Oman visit of Right Hon’ble Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on September 2017.
Both had substantive discussion on promoting mutual cooperation for development of tourism industries in both countries. In this regard, both agreed to take steps to initiate MoUs on Tourism Cooperation as soon as possible and facilitate tourism links through developing people to people contact, cultural exchanges, tourism colleges and research institutions.
H.E. Minister assured of continued Omani support and cooperation to the socio-economic development efforts of Nepal. H.E. Mahriziwished H.E. Dhakal for her successful tenure in the Sultanate and show confidence for full cooperation from Sultanate of Oman.
