Her Excellency Ambassador Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal had a bilateral meeting with the H.E. Qais Mohammed Al Yusuf, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in latter’s office today. The meeting was held in an utmost cordial and friendly environment.
During the meeting both discussed the ways and means to enhance trade relations between Nepal and the Sultanate of Oman. H.E. ambassador informed H.E. Yusuf about the upcoming Investment Summit which is going to be hosted by the Government of Nepal on 29- 30 March 2019 and sought for the possible cooperation from the Sultanate. H.E. chairman assured the full cooperation regarding such initiative.
Both of them further discussed the plans to enhance bilateral trade through Business to Business (B2B) cooperation between Nepal and Oman as well as enhancing bilateral tourism via focus on tourism industries of both countries.
