Heartfelt Appeal for Financial Support to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund and Prime Minister Relief Fund
On 26 August 2026, a devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa caused significant loss of life and property. The riverside areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and other districts have been badly affected. The Government of Nepal has intensified search, rescue and relief operations in the affected areas.
A substantial financial resources is required for risk reduction and management of this devastating disaster. At this difficult hour, the Embassy of Nepal makes a heartfelt appeal to all those who have expressed their willingness to provide assistance from within Nepal and abroad to contribute to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund through the official channels.
