Notice on the Establishment of an Electronic Museum
The Embassy of Nepal in Muscat has decided to establish an Electronic Museum (e-Museum) on 30 October 2025. The e-Museum will include important events/records between Nepal and Oman, such as high-level visits, historical documents, books, articles, compositions and publications, research materials, statistics, photographs, videos, as well as information about first-time events or establishments.
This initiative aims to integrate information related to various dimensions of Nepal–Oman relations, thereby creating a comprehensive archive of important documents and events. Such an archive will serve as a valuable source of reference for future generations for study and research purposes and will contribute to further strengthening the longstanding friendship between the two countries. Information, documents, facts, and data related to the multifaceted Nepal–Oman relationship will be systematically compiled and scientifically preserved. The e-Museum will initially be launched through Television and a Kiosk Machine, and important documents and photographs deemed suitable for public viewing will also be physically displayed.
For the implementation of this initiative, a committee has been formed under the coordination of Mr. Bishesh Kumar Sah, First Secretary of the Embassy, comprising Mr. Najim Osman (Office Secretary), Mr. Ramesh Prasad Aryal (Driver/Messenger), and long-term resident of Oman and representative of the Nepali community, Mr. Tolakant Bhattarai, as members.
Accordingly, all concerned are kindly requested to provide materials suitable for inclusion in the e-Museum as mentioned above. You may also share any relevant information with the Embassy through the contact details provided below.
